Cleanliness

Mixed reports: generally acceptable but several guests reported unclean bedding (hair), bathroom odors, ants in a room and a recurring smell of burning/smoke around the hotel.

Service

Multiple guests praised very friendly, attentive staff, excellent service at events (e. g. , wedding bed decoration) and generally warm hospitality; a few complaints about rigid front-desk policies (early check-in and booking change handling) but overall service was exemplary.

Location

Several negatives: long drive and heavy traffic to Ubud (~50 minutes), frequent burning/smoke nearby, and many stray dogs making walking to shops feel unsafe.
